Youth Training Course

This is a call for partners for a Training Course organized under the youth in Action framework, actions 4.3 and 3.1.b.  The call is open to NGOs active in the field of youthwork and non-formal education from all eligible countries, except the countries where we already have partners: Romania, Macedonia, Italy, Portugal, Malta, United Kingdom. If your NGO is from these countries, you can still contact us to submit individual applications through our partners.

   Brief project coordinates:

   Topic: Personal and Professional Development for Volunteers and YouthWorkers

   Duration: 9 days, excluding travel days, includes 2 weekends.

   Period: 5 periods in November 2011 – January 2012

   Location: Romania, Macedonia, Italy, Portugal, Malta, United Kingdom (you may be selected for a maximum of 2 of these locations)

   Target group: 3 participants from each NGO. Participants MUST be ACTIVE YOUTHWORKERS. This project is NOT open to travelers, groupies, hitchhikers, course hunters, non-members of the promoter’s NGO etc.

   Funding: all costs will be covered, except 30% of travel costs. Participants must be able to buy their own tickets and wait for the reimbursement.

   Selection: We will prefer NGOs who are active in the field of non-formal education/youthwork. We will prefer NGO’s who know about Youth In Action, EVS, Council of Europe etc, are able to make the difference between a youth exchange and a training course and can bring added value to the project.  The selection results will be announced on 25th of may 2011.
